Acatenango, Guatemala

The Acatenango cooperative is located in Acatenango, Chimaltenango on the slopes of the Acatenango volcano which is the third highest in the Central American range and gives the cooperative their name. Volcan de Acatenango is located close to Volcan de Fuego, which erupted in 2018. We are very pleased to be offering this coffee as part of our collaboration with a charity local to us, Education for the Children, who run The School of Hope 20 miles from the areas where this coffee is grown, in Jocotenango.
